Meet Our Educators!

Victoria is very passionate and experienced in her work as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Conestoga College in 2015 with her diploma in Early Childhood Education and since began working full-time in highly respected childcare programs in the region including, Jacob Hespeler Childcare, St. Jacobs Daycare, and Conestoga College Campus Lab School. Victoria is highly knowledgeable in current research and confident in the Emergent Curriculum approach inspired by the philosophies of Reggio Emilia. She has been a mentor in early learning pedagogy and is vigorous in her continuous professional learning as a leader. Her passion and commitment to authentic opportunities for young children is what motivated her to open Maple Woods Early Learning. Her goal is to provide families, in Wilmot Township and beyond, a place of community where there is a sense of belonging. She is warm and loving in her relationships with children and wants them to experience meaningful, intentional, and authentic care every day.

 

In her personal life, Victoria enjoys hiking in the woods, decorating her home, baking treats, getting caught in the rain and hot tubs! She shares home with her husband and adventure buddy Austin, who also enjoys the outdoors and especially on his bicycle! Together, they strive to do their part in caring for the world and the people in it.

• Up-to-date Immunizations

• Valid Food Handler Certification

• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License
